HOF - Eric Curry   

 

Eric Curry is the second inductee into this year’s Hall of Fame.  Eric is a 1992 graduate of Auburn High School. He lives in Carlisle, Massachusetts with his wife, Gretchen and their three children, Tyler, Addie Kay and Stewart.  

 

Eric was Auburn's first ever All American in the sport of lacrosse. He was a three year starter for the lacrosse team, captained the team his senior year, and was a First Team All League player at attack his junior and senior years.   Eric was a member of the Empire State Games, Central Region Lacrosse Team and won the Central Region MVP.  At the conclusion of Eric's senior year, he had the opportunity to play in the Section III Gordon Ohlstrom Senior All Star Game and came away with the MVP award for that contest.  Eric was also a very good hockey player and had an impressive three-year career with the high school hockey team.   Eric is still, after twenty years, in the record book for lacrosse.  He is seventh in Total Points in a Career (154), fifth in Total Points per Game  (3.28), twelfth in Total Points in a Season (60), fourth in Goals Scored in a Career (122) and ninth in Goals Scored in a Season (49).   

 

Eric attended Hobart College and was a four-year starter and leading scorer in lacrosse for the Statesmen.  At the end of Eric's career at Hobart, he was tenth All Time in Career Goals, had won a Division III National Championship in '93, a Division III National Runner up in '94, and won team honors as the MVP in his sophomore and senior years. In addition to his high school All American honors, he was also a Division III, First Team All American his sophomore year.  One of Eric's career highlights was in 1995, scoring six goals against a powerhouse Syracuse Orange.   

 

After graduation, Eric went to work at Xerox Corporation Subsidiary, Document Technologies Inc. Eric continues to further his education and is expecting to graduate from The F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College in 2013.   

 

Eric has been involved with the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and the Xerox President's Club. In his free time likes to travel, work around the house and hang out with his wife, two children and their yellow lab, Kimball!
